Just wondering if the trivia is a little patchy.

Don't know nuffin' about patchy trivia, but my knowledge was patchy. Good subject, will you include politicians? Kennedys etc? Were you thinking of a separate parent/child one?

Redgraves, Corin, Lynne and Vanessa, Richardsons Joely and Natasha, Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine?

Thanks v much.

The main criteria for the subject is the different names which means the relationship wouldn’t necessarily be common knowledge. I didn’t even think of politicians but there might some worth adding.  : )

I like it! I really had no idea on most of them. I like the different last names, keeps it tricky.

Tricky subject as I hadn't heard of most of these.  Sheen/Estevez is reasonably well known, but the rest were guesses.

I'm thinking it's probably only showbiz where there is a compulsion/necessity to change ones name?  Why bother in sport, politics, science etc.?  In those areas it's a possible advantage to belong to a dynasty, e.g. Charlton, Kennedy, Curie?

It's certainly worth expanding the category, and breaking away from showbiz if that is at all possible.

I knew none of them but nice addition I think if you do politicians it needs to be a separate subject.

I personally don't see this as being general knowledge.

I get it about different names. Anyway, how about novelists Margaret Drabble and A.S. Byatt?

(Desperately trying to recover from surname gaffe)

I like the fact that the sibling's names are not the same so for me, it became more of a "who knew?".   I agree with JMK that this is not general knowledge subject.

Agree it's not a general knowledge subject. I could only find a couple more likely entries but they're pretty obscure ones so I'll let it alone for now. Nem just gave me a an idea for a possible new subject though - 'Family Dynasties'.

Thanks for the input everyone   : )
