American actress. played the role of April Dancer in the television spy series "The Girl from U.N.C.L.E." and starred as Jennifer Hart with Robert Wagner in the 1980s television mystery series "Hart to Hart." 1979-1984. She won two Emmy Awards for this series.
In 1986, Leonard Cohen's English translation of the poem "PequeÃ±o vals vienÃ©s" by GarcÃa Lorca reached #1 in the Spanish single charts (as "Take This Waltz", music by Cohen). Cohen has described GarcÃa Lorca as being his idol in his youth, and named his daughter Lorca Cohen for that reason. Lorca was a Spanish poet and dramatist, 1898-1936; killed in the Spanish Civil War.
