My computer really annoys me at the moment with things in it that i didnt put there. If i reset my computer back to factory setting would i lose all of Factacular and what harm would it cause to the computer.

You won't lose anything on Factacular itself. You will get logged out of Facta so make sure you know your log in details and log-in details for any other sites like Facebook and your email and browser. If you have Chrome browser log in to that and allow it to synch first as that will save a lot of settings for you..

You would need to back up any documents, photos etc on the computer including what is on your desktop first as you will lose these if you do a full reset. Good idea to have a back up anyway. Make sure your computer allows you to re-install the operating system and doesn't require codes to do so. Also make sure you have codes to any programs such as Microsoft Office.

I would not recommend doing a factory rest every 6 months without good reason.

If you are not having issues then a reset is not needed. If you are trying to hide things on your computer a reset won't do it unless you have a solid state drive. A good forensic computer expert can find everything even if you reset.

I dont have anything in my computer that needs hiding, i have clicked on things that have added other things and i thought the only way to clear everything out and start fresh is to do a reset

Try going to the website for your make of computer, find your model and there should be drivers available to download.
