And this is not one of my favorites. It enrages me every time I watch it.
Too many bad decisions. None of them was a REALLY tough decision. Sure, we have the benefit of replays and Snickos but these were clear as crystal.
The decisions when Ponting was batting were a BIT tough. So, let me excuse those two.
But Symonds was a goner in the third one and the fourth one. The third umpire 1) was blind. OR 2) wanted to see Symonds hitting a few boundaries, perhaps.
Bucknor should really have referred the stumping. Symonds had far too many lives, I thought.
Then, Rahul Dravid who had some momentum going, given caught behind when the bat was light years away from the ball. ( Slight exaggeration :) )
I think Symonds' appeal "AAAAAAAAAA" convinced The Honourable Stephen Anthony Bucknor there. Bah!
I never knew that the umpires consulted the players when they were unsure of the decision. Some new rule laid down by the ICC, I think :)
I think Ganguly was not out in the last one. Michael Clarke had grounded the ball. This video doesn't show footage of that, though. Mark Benson (normally a good umpire), made a foolish mistake, taking Ponting's word, instead of referring it to the third umpire.
India deserved to win the Test. I saw the whole Test, and Kumble's face after the end of the Test, reduced me to tears.

I don't know which match it was.

So you say it wasn't bad umpiring??? And that is exactly what I want you to do, if it is no trouble. Find me a Test Match with many wrong decisions by an Indian umpire on the field and also by a third umpire.

By the way, did you see the last video? Superb.

Thx.

England 'trott'ed along nicely to 373. Good knock on debut.
