I am getting intermittent faults on the computer whilst playing The Decathlon. On any other subject or Daily Challenge all is well. Apart from being narked at getting less than ten questions on some occasions I also notice that when I get a question wrong in a subject and I go to re-answer it the Subject is saying I have no questions to answer. The subjects concerned are
Fictional Alter Egos
Spanish Phrases Used In English
Any other person in the same boat.

Sorry to read about your probs SB - I have had some which appear to start at Q2.
On another issue is anyone having problems with accesing Facta via their emails?
I'm using Live / hotmail email address and when clicking on a Facta email to check brainoff results or postings etc it comes up with can't access this message try again later and yet I can aceess other mails. It isn't the Facta site being down as I can access it directly.
Any ideas?

There does seem to be a problem with the % of facts known not being accurate but this shouldn't affect game play.
I haven't had any issues playing brainoffs or with emails.
Doc - sometimes if you do a double click to enter a brainoff you can end up double loading the page and skip the first question.

I've been intermittently receiving 9 question Brainoffs for about a month but no dropped questions in the last 2-3 days, so hopefully whatever gremlins there were have been exorcised.
I did find that when a brainoff froze, if I opened a new window the remaining questions would appear. Sometimes (not always) the stuck question would then appear in the original window at the end. Opening a new window rather than a new tab works (in MS Explorer) as you can easily see if the first window comes back to life.
(Incidentally, making Factacular a trusted site, switching to Firefox, or disabling my firewall did not help.)

Kev - not sure what you mean but I've no problem in accessing the site via my favourites just via the email.Even when I read a non-facta email and delete it if the next email is a Facta one it won't open and says I can't access - try again later. Frustrating as I'm missing the reposts / comments on any brainoff I take part in

if you click on the home button at top of screen in facta all messages sent to you will appear there
