Brainoff Issue: Internet Explorer 10
Some people have noticed a problem with brainoffs wherein questions never appear and they're left staring at a green bar (ultimately being unable to score any points). I've now managed to reproduce this problem and it looks like it's specific to Internet Explorer 10. I will, of course, look into the problem and fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, Internet Explorer users who're keen to get back to playing brainoffs can do so by downloading an alternative browser such as Firefox or Chrome. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I've managed to have a quick look and have managed to improve the situation. If you're using IE 10, you'll still miss the first question. However, the timer will count down and you'll get every question which follows. I know it's not perfect but perfection takes a bit more time.

Trust me, sally, the global community of web developers is just breathing a collective sigh of relief that you're not on IE 6.

We're using XP at our Hospital as well, but there is a Windows7 upgrade on the cards, as soon as there's some money to pay for it.... probably in 2017

There's absolutely nothing wrong with XP. For its time,it's the best Windows operating system of the last 30 years in my opinion.

I'd have to agree, once sp2 was installed it was a great system.

Yes that was the reason for changing to windows 7. Window 7 is actually pretty good although for some reason it removed several good features that were in XP. I have Windows 8 now, not so happy with that although once I added a couple of addons to restore some features from previous versions (start menu, apps opening in windows instead of fullscreen and with a X to close them) I get along alright with it. It really is designed to work with tablet computers and if you just have an ordinary computer it isn't as user-friendly.And the photos app is diabolical, need to work out how to get Picture Manager back, think I have an idea how.

I still have XP on my old desktop and it was very user friendly. I wish it were faster and I would still be using it. Windows? Nyeahk. Doesn't like me and I don't like it too much. I REALLY liked XP and wish I could use it all the time. All these Windows upgrades drive me crazy. I am not well versed in computer stuff so it is a horror for me when something changes! AAAAAK!
